Bis jetzt beschränkten wir uns - mit wenigen Ausnahmen - auf Geisenheim und Umgebung. Die aktuelle politische Lage zwingt uns aber geradewegs dazu an die Weltöffentlichkeit zu gehen. Deshalb findet unter oben genannter Adresse zur Zeit ein Rennen für den Weltfrieden statt. Macht mit!

Die amerikanischen Gästebuchbesitzer haben mit hinterlistigen Machinationen das Friedensrennen zur Strecke gebracht. Das war fast zu erwarten. Immerhin haben wir ein Zeichen für den Frieden setzen können, das zählt auch.
Vielleicht können wir morgen einen neuen Versuch starten und in einer konzentrierten Aktion doch noch ein Rennen durchführen. Tatenlos dem aufziehenden Krieg zusehen werden wir nicht!

*) der moralische Aspekt:

nungut, die Araber sehens vielleicht noch nicht, aber: als die Amis vor über 50 Jahren zu uns kamen, war es für Deutschland auch sehr bitter und wir haben uns heftig gewehrt. Trotzdem bin ich heute froh, dass die Amis uns damals die Demokratie und andere gute Dinge brachten.
Dia Irakis werden den USA später sehr dankbar sein, da bin ich sicher; man sollte immer für das Gute kämpfen.

Ohoh, Herr Gemeint, so versuchen Sie sich also gefährlicher Konkurrenz zu entledigen?!? Vielleicht kann ich die Gästebuchbetreiber davon überzeugen, dass ich auf ihrer Seite stehe, dann wäre mir die 100 sicher.

diesmal haben wir es geschafft: wir haben mit einem erfolgreich in den USA durchgeführten Rennen ein Zeichen für den Frieden setzen können. Interessanterweise hat keine 2 Minuten nach der 100 der Webmaster angefangen, die Beiträge zu löschen. Möglicherweise handelt es sich bei ihm um einen heimlichen Friedenssympathisanten, der uns das Rennen hat zu Ende führen lassen, bevor er (widerwillig?) seiner Schuldigkeit dem Arbeitgeber, einer U.S.Behöre, gegenüber Genüge tat. Gewonnen hat übrigens Herr Gemeint, aber natürlich vor allem der Weltfrieden!

Ich habe auch schon ein britisches <A HREF="http://tools.freewebware.com/guestbook. ... 4271e4e3d6" TARGET="_blank">Gästebuch </A>gefunden (natürlich mit Eintragszähler).

Schwieriger war es, ein irakisches aufzutreiben, da das UN-Embargo auch den Export von Webseiten betrifft. Ein paar HTML-Freaks konnten das Embargo zwar unterlaufen, aber die Gästebücher waren alle nicht numeriert und daher ungeeignet für ein regelgerechtes "Race for Peace".
Der Araber hat die Zahlen zwar erfunden, vertickt Sie aber lieber nach Rußland, statt sie selbst zu benutzen. Nun, wie immer hat das gute alte Telefonbuch schließlich zu einer versteckten irakischen <A HREF="http://www.phonebookoftheworld.com/cgi-bin/main.pl" TARGET="_blank">Exilseite </A>in Polen verwiesen...

Alternativvorschläge, Anforderungen der Startnummern, und Fanpost können also ab sofort hier hinterlegt werden, um dann am Montag den Startschuß abfeuern zu können.

Ich hoffe auf einen fairen Wettstreit, es bleibt nicht mehr viel Zeit...

der Krieg fängt ja in der Nacht von Montag auf Dienstag an, wenn wir das Friedensrennen also Montags veranstalten, dann ist es vielleicht ja noch rechtzeitg! Friedensnobelpreis, wir kommen!

Das von Ihnen gefundene irakische Gästebuch ist leider nur bedingt tauglich, da sich der Administrator zuerst die Einträge durchlesen will, bevor er sie postet. Wer weiss, ob er dann die Reihenfolge beibehält, ein faires Rennen wäre das nicht.

Ich Dummer, ich... der Domainname .com verrät ja schon, daß der Server in Columbien steht. Das ändert nichts an der Tatsache, daß dieses Gästebuch zum Rennen ungeeignet ist, also müssen wir schnellstens ein neues finden.

Auf allgemeinen Wunsch wird das irakische Rennen auf morgen verschoben. Morgen sind dann aber bitte alle dabei. Wir haben ja gesehen, was alleine die Ankündigung dieses Rennens bewirkt hat: heute nacht noch kein Krieg, Präsident Bush ist verunsichert, will sich nochmal mit Condoleezza beraten. Wird er klein beigeben?

Darf ich vorschlagen, auf die respektlife Rennbahn auszuweichen, das wäre sicherlich ein geeigneter Ort, gute Lage, thematisch ganz treffend und in blau. Allerdings ist jeder immer erstmal Nummer1.
